فرق پسوندهاي مختلف با يکديگر چيست ؟

هر پسوند نشاندهنده زمينه کاري و محدوده فعاليت سايت يا صاحب آن Domain مي باشد . در ذيل جهت آشنايي با هر يک از پسوندها به شرح آنها مي پردازيم :
COM. ( به معني Commercial ) اين پسوند جزء متداولترين پسوندها مي باشد و نشاندهنده اين است که سايت ، مربوط به يک شرکت تجاري بين المللي است. امروزه اين پسوند به قدری متداول مي باشد که اکثر مردم تصورشان اين است که تنها اين پسوند وجود دارد و مي بايست از طريق اين پسوند Domain خود را ثبت کنند.
NET. ( به معني Network ) و نشاندهنده شرکتهايي مي باشد که در زمينه خدمات دهي سرويسهای اينترنت يا ISP فعاليت مي کنند.
ORG. (به معني Organization ) و نشاندهنده سازمانهاي غير دولتي مي باشد.

انتخاب نام دامنه مناسب

پسوند آن مناسب با نوع فعاليت وب‌سايت باشد
همانطور كه مي‌دانيد پسوندهاي متفاوتي براي مقاصد مختلف دامنه‌ها وجود دارد كه اين پسوندها تعيين كننده نوع فعاليت مرتبط با آن وب‌سايت مي‌باشند. بعنوان مثال پسوند .com ( مخفف Commercial ) كه بيشترين كاربرد را در پسوندهاي دامنه دارد در مورد وب‌سايتهايي كه اهداف تجاري دارند بكار مي‌رود.وب‌سايتهايي كه محدوده فعاليت آنها به يك كشور خلاصه مي‌شود از پسوند همان كشور استفاده مي‌نمايند.وب‌سايتهايي كه بصورت بين‌المللي نيز فعاليت مي‌كنند معمولاً دامنه اصلي وب‌سايت خود را با پسوند .com و براي هر كشور كه خدمات خود را عرضه مي‌كنند يك دامنه با پسوند همان كشور اختصاص مي‌دهند.براي اطلاع از پسوندهاي دامنه موجود در دنيا و زمينه استفاده از آنهااينجا كليك نمائيد.

 ثبت پسوندهاي رايج
اگر تصور مي‌كنيد كه نام دامنه انتخابي شما بخصوص از زمان شروع فعاليت وب‌سايت، ممكن است با پسوندهاي ديگر توسط افراد مختلف به ثبت برسد، همزمان با ثبت پسوند اصلي پسوندهاي مهم و رايج ديگر را نيز به ثبت برسانيد، بعنوان مثال اگر دامنه خود را با پسوند .com انتخاب نموده‌ايد، پسوندهاي .net و .org را نيز ثبت و اگر تمامي و يا بخشي از فعاليت وب‌سايت به ايران مربوط مي‌شود پسوند .ir را نيز به آن اضافه نمائيد، اين عمل موجب مي‌شود تا در آينده وب‌سايت شما كه با صرف هزينه و وقت ايجاد شده است با وب‌سايت ديگري با همان نام، توسط مخاطبين اشتباه نشود.

كوتاه باشد
تا جايي كه امكان‌پذير است نام دامنه خود را كوتاه انتخاب نمائيد. البته اين بدين معنا نيست كه نام سازمان، شركت و ... خود را ناديده بگيريد.شما مي‌توانيد قسمتي از نام شركت و يا مخفف آن را بعنوان نام واحد انتخاب نمائيد. بعنوان مثال اگر نام موسسه شما تحليلگران عصر پويا مي‌باشد بهتر است بجاي tahlilgaran-asr-pouya.com نام pouya.com و يا tap.com را انتخاب نمائيد (پسوند مناسب را فراموش نكنيد).توجه داشته باشيد كه استفاده از حروف اختصاري در بعضي موارد مناسب نيست بخصوص اگر تعداد حروف اختصاري بيش از 4 كاراكتر باشد. در مجموع توصيه مي‌شود كه نام كوتاه انتخابي‌تان مفهوم باشد.اگر نام دامنه كوتاه انتخابي شما با پسوندهاي رايج مثل .com و .net و ... قبلاً به ثبت رسيده‌اند و بخشي يا تمامي فعاليت وب‌سايت شما به كشور ايران ارتباط دارد توصيه مي‌شود دامنه كوتاه انتخابي خود را با پسوند .ir هرچه سريعتر به ثبت برسانيد. در حال حاظر ثبت نامهاي كوتاه با پسوند .ir نسبت به ساير پسوندها بيشتر امكان‌پذير است.اين عمل موجب مي‌شود تا آدرس وب‌سايت شما بيشتر بياد بماند.
